. President's Note
I would like to take this opportunity to thank MOGEC members for electing me as the new President for year 2009-2010. For me, this is a great honor and indirectly reflects a recognition to RNZ overall roles in MOGEC since year 2002.
When I assume the presidency task for MOGEC, the most challenging assignment is to make MOGEC be seen as a liable and relevant association to the oil and gas industries where ideas, creativity, leadership and knowledge spruce together. I believe, the past MOGEC Presidents have done a very excellent job since the formation of MOGEC in1999.
As you know, one of the objectives of Malaysian Oil and Gas Consultants (MOGEC) is to foster a closer relationship and co-operation among the oil and gas engineering consultant. I am optimistic MOGEC can play this role to bind us together in identifying and improving the employer roles while facing today uncertain oil and gas business situation.
MOGEC should be more pro active to promote and encourage more participation among its member, by organizing more relevant events and activities. In order to do so, we need to find ways to increase our financial strength in order to support the program.
I sincerely hope we can play our part as MOGEC member by giving continuous support and ideas.
At the same time, I pledge all of us to put effort and provide full commitment in establishing MOGEC to become more effective and contribute positive stance to the overall oil and gas industries.
