A Professional Engineer and a Fellow with the Institute of Engineers Malaysia (FIEM).He is considered a pioneer in the Oil & Gas Industry having a career that started since 1983.Formerly the Executive Director of Toyo Engineering & Construction Sdn Bhd (Toyo M).A position he held for 17 years from year 2000 to 2017.He has an in-depth knowledge in monitoring and managing engineering and construction projects, specifically in the oil and gas and petrochemicals industry.He has held responsible positions in Engineering Design, Project Management, Procurement Management, Offshore Platforms Operation and Maintenance Supervision. Have knowledge in offshore hook-up and commissioning, drilling operations and crude oil terminals operation.He has an extensive and deep networks within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industry specifically in Malaysia.

Ts. Sharifah Zaida Nurlisha

Vice President 

Sharifah Zaida Nurlisha received her Bachelor of Electrical and Engineering degree (BEng(Hons) and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Nottingham University, England. She began her career as an Instrument Engineer in Sime Engineering Sdn Bhd in 1990 before moving to Project Management discipline, with MMC Oil & Gas Engineering Sdn Bhd in 1995. Her experience encompasses Project Engineering experiences to Project Manager of different types of Oil & Gas contracts, went on to be GM of Project Department, before assuming her current position as CEO of MMC Oil & Gas Engineering Sdn Bhd. In her 31 years in the oil & gas industry, she has been involved in projects ranging from Conceptual, FEED, Detailed Design,Fabrication/Construction, Hook-up and Commissioning, EPCC and EPCIC projects locally and also outside of Malaysia.

Ir. Razmahwata Mohd Razalli

Razmahwata b Mohamad Razalli is an Associate Process Safety Consultant to MECIP Global Engineers Sdn. Bhd. He is also the Lead Engineer at IGL Solutions Sdn. Bhd. He graduated with a MEng from Cambridge University. He has over 20 years in the Malaysian Oil & Gas industry, in operations, engineering and consulting roles.

Ir. Ahmad Nazari b. Ashari

He graduated in 1982 with a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. Ir. Ahmad Nazari is the co-founder and Chairman of MECIP Global Engineers Sdn Bhd & MECIP (M) Sdn Bhd.

En Rusihan Bin Ruslan

Treasurer

Rusihan Bin Ruslan is currently a Business Development Associate with MECIP Global Engineers Sdn Bhd.  Previously he was with Technip Geoproduction (M) Sdn Bhd since 2003 until 2020 in various positions with the last post as Senior Market Analyst. Prior to that he has held various positions at Golden Pharos Berhad for 5 years from 1998 to 2003 including Accountant and Assistant Manager for Corporate Services. He started his career as Audit Assistant at Arthur Andersen & Co in 1994. Rusihan is both Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) since 2002. He received an Advanced Diploma in Accountancy from MARA Institute of Technology, Shah Alam in 1993.

Pn. Bahiyatul Nazarah

Since graduation in July 1987, Bahiyatul has been working for 29 years in Oil Gas and Petrochemical Industry. She started her career in January 1988 with Cegelec Malaysia Sdn Bhd as a Procurement Engineer and developed her career as Procurement Manager. Presently working with RNZ Integrated (M) Sdn Bhd since November 2004.

Ir. Nor Azahar Abdul Razak

He started his career in Oil & Gas industry with Sime Engineering Sdn. Bhd. in 1994 as Instrument & Control Engineer, and he has committed in this line of profession which has brought him to various high level position from Lead Engineer to Project Manager and Engineering Manager. He is the lead assessor for Yayasan Sime Darby scholarship. In 2012, he joins Wood Group Mustang (M) Sdn. Bhd. as Instrument & Control Engineer then progressed to Lead Engineer and Director/Head of Engineering. He is currently the Director – Business Development for Wood. He is a registered Professional Engineer with Practising Certificate with Board of Engineers Malaysia. He is also the appointed Industrial Panel Assessor for Engineering Accreditation Council Malaysia (EAC).

En Muhammad Shahrir Zubir

He graduated with Mechanical Engineering Degree with Honors from USM. He began his career as a Project Engineer in MMC Engineering Services ( Gas Sector ) in 1995. He is also registered with EC as gas engineering supervisor. He was involved in all phases of onshore projects from business development, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning including role as project manager and procurement manager as well as  BD Manager. He is currently the General; Manager Business Development for Ranhill WorleyParsons since 2012  covering both domestic and international market for the location. 

Mr Kirk Jean Belian

After graduating in 2006 from ESTIA Bordeaux (France) with a Mechanical and Fluid engineering degree, he worked in Germany (Karlsruhe) on the Design and Installation of the cooling system of a Particle Accelerator (Cyclotron) for the pharmaceutical industry.Back to France, he opened COBRA HEATING by engineering, designing, manufacturing and installing heat-pumps and thermal solar systems. After gaining experience he became one of the leading consultants in the power generation renewable energies around Europe. He worked for several companies around the globe such as SIEMENS, STATOIL, ELYO SUEZ, SULZER,... in scopes like offshore wind turbine farms, hydro-power generation, nuclear,...He is now Chief Technology Officer in Elektro Serve Sdn Bhd and takes care of big projects to give solutions where there is no solutions in Oil and Gas, Power Generation, Petrochemical, Transport, and military...

Pn Azlin Roshazliana Abdul Rahman

Joined Technip Consultant (M) Sdn Bhd in the year 2013 as a Project Engineer. Assigned to oversee the Technical Building Engineering Services for the Martin Linge Platform of North Sea asher first project, assisting Technip Paris in executing the EPCIC. In 2015 joined the RAPID EPCM Package 14 project execution of the utilities, interconnecting and offsites for the PETRONAS RAPID Complex. With these project management experiences, she pursued PMP certification and has been a certified PMP holder since 2017. After completing a full cycle of project execution in Offshore and Onshore, she is now taking up new challenges in Business Development as a Senior Sales Engineer.

Ms Voon Jye Yng

Jye Yng is a Chemical Engineer with over 20 years of experience in process safety and technical risk assessment in the oil & gas, petrochemical and chemical industries. She is a TUV certified Functional Safety Engineer, PHA facilitator and is also registered as QRA Subject Specialist with the Department of Environment. Throughout her career, she works closely with Clients across Asia Pacific, Australia, UK and US, in addressing their safety, risk and sustainability related issues in engineering design and operations. She is a Consulting Partner at ERM, leading the safety service of the sustainability consulting business.

Ir. Mohd Yusof Ab Rahman

Mohd Yusof Ab Rahman has over 30 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry. He has held various leadership and project roles, and has vast experiences in front end study, engineering design, project management, sales and business development. He has a stellar track record in managing sizable engineering design services for upstream and downstream projects.     

Mohd Yusof joined Aker Solutions in 2006 and was involved extensively in supervising and managing projects for about 10 years. In 2016, he took on the role as the Head of projects and has led key projects in various countries and regions including Malaysia, Vietnam, India, China, Brazil, and the Middle East.   

He is currently the Vice President and Head of sales and business development in Asia Pacific.     

He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the Columbia University in New York and is a registered Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia.

Ir. Dr. Ragunath Bharath

Ir Dr Ragunath Bharath has over 28 years of experience in the plant EPCC business and is a director of IFP (Innovative Fluid Process Sdn Bhd), a multidiscipline plant engineering group. Prior to establishing IFP, he worked with Chiyoda Corporation in Yokohama, Foster Wheeler Malaysia and OGP Technical Services in the process and commissioning disciplines. He obtained his undergraduate and graduate degrees in chemical engineering from Tohoku University, Japan under Japanese Government Scholarship and is a registered Professional Engineer with BEM and Fellow of IChemE UK.

Ir. Ahmad Nazwan Bin Mat Zin

Ir. Ahmad Nazwan Bin Mat Zin has over than 19 years in Upstream and Downstream Oil and Gas mainly in Overall Engineering Design, Asset Integrity Management, Construction, Installation and Commissioning as leader capacity of the range of Oil & Gas facilities including Offshore Platforms, Refineries, Power Plant, Pipelines and Onshore Processing Facilities. Served in a higher management position in International oil and gas companies previously. He is also corporate member of IEM and registered Professional Engineers with Board of Engineer Malaysia. With extensive knowledge in Management, Technical, Commercial, Marketing, and Business Strategy, he is the COO for Maju Integrated Engineers also a CEO of MIE Offshore Solutions and director of the company.

Ir. Dr. Torkil Ganendra

Dr. Torkil Ganendra has over 25 years of experience in the consulting engineering profession including 19 years in oil & gas with Aker Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd where he is currently is the Director. He has a PhD from Imperial College London University and is the Corporate Member of IEM and registered Professional Member with BEM.

Ir. Dr. Christina Phang

Representative of Individual Members

Ir. Dr. Christina Phang is a Fellow of the IChemE and a Professional Process Safety Engineer and was awarded the 2016 IChemE Franklin Medal. She is also a registered Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers (BEM) in Malaysia and Professional Engineers Board (PEB) in Singapore.
She has over 30 years’ experience in safety and risk management predominantly spent working in the oil and gas sector providing advice relating to safety engineering during project development, commissioning and construction through to operational and decommissioning phases.
Christina spent 23 years with ERM, a global sustainability consultancy, in various technical consulting, country and regional operational and commercial roles. Her last role was as Principal Partner and Commercial Director for ERM’s Safety services in Asia Pacific from 2019 - 2020. She is also Past Chair of IChemE Malaysia Board for 2020/2021. She is currently one of the non-executive Directors of IChemE Malaysia.
