MOGEC was established in 1999 by six established design services engineering consultants serving the upstream oil and gas industry and known as Malaysian Oil & Gas Engineering Council.
In 2023, as part of our effort to stay relevant in the global transition to a low-carbon future, we have rebranded and changed the name of the association. The new name for MOGEC is Malaysian Oil, Gas & Energy Engineering Council.
